Assorted pictorial goodies: Enlarged Lemony Snicket pics (“lemonysite” folder) and Alexander trailer caps (“alexandertrailer1”). Steal all you want—just please don’t hotlink, as my Photobucket account probably won’t make it through the month as it is. I will change the folders’ names and break all direct links if I have to, which is why I’m not linking directly to the folders themselves.

Official sites: Constantine, Thunderbirds, Napoleon Dynamite

Casting calls and future films
Amityville Horror remake: Jimmy Bennett (Daddy Day Care) (Cinescape)
Brideshead Revisited remade: Ananova now says that the filmmakers deny that the Sebastian Flyte role has been cast, much less with Jude Law. It’s not often you see Ananova correcting something, so…
Fantastic Four: Now Latino Review has word that Kate Bosworth, instead of/in addition to Julia Stiles, is up for Sue Storm. Christina Milian is also in the running.
Lovewrecked: Amanda Bynes. Premise: “An 18-year-old girl is ecstatic when she finds that her favorite rock star is a guest at the tropical resort where she is working for the summer. When they are both thrown overboard during a cruise, she finds herself stranded alone with him on what they think is a remote beach. Randal Kleiser will direct the indie film, having ventured into similar territory with The Blue Lagoon in 1980.” (Empire Movies)
Madman: Over at my journal, a reader has clarified the “star of the biggest moneymaker” quote—Allred has publicly said that Viggo Mortensen was his dream casting. Does that mean they actually got him? Time will tell. (Occupation: Girl)
Sky High: Michael Angarano, who “will play Jeremy, the son of two superheroes named Commander Stronghold and Jetstream who goes to a high school where every kid is the son or daughter of someone with superpowers.” (Cinescape)
Aztec: DreamWorks has bought Jeff Shaffer and Ted Humphrey’s pitch. Premise: “The main character is a slave named Tez who is a participant in a deadly game called Ullamalitzli where players have to hit a rubber ball through a stone hoop many feet off the ground -- and not use their hands or let the ball touch the ground at any time. The winners of Ullamalitzli were lauded with gifts and the love of the crowd. The losers were put to death.” Also, Word automatically corrected “Dreamworks” to “DreamWorks,” which kinda freaks me out. (Cinescape)
Ghost Rider: Apparently the Mark Steven Johnson script is fab. (Superhero Hype)
Batman Begins: Set reports are starting to come in from LaSalle street, Chicago. (Superhero Hype)
Children of Men: …may be Alfonso Cuarón’s next project. Premise: "It's the world 30 years from now, [a time] in which for 18 years no human child has been born, for unknown reasons. Civilizations are falling apart. England is the last remaining civilization as we know it, because it's an island that's insulated itself from Europe, which is in civil wars and complete pandemonium. So the story takes place in that context. It's a story about hope and faith." (SciFi Wire)
Forbidden Planet remake: Steven Spielberg wants David Twohy for the job, based on his work on The Chronicles of Riddick. (Dark Horizons)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Producer David Heyman honestly thinks that fans would rather have new, age-appropriate kids rather than follow Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint through to the bitter end, and that there would not be riots in the streets if they were replaced. David Heyman is an idiot. (Cinema Confidential)
The Incredibles: Wired has a feature up on Pixar’s next. (via Superhero Hype)
Little Sister: Walter Hill will direct; he wrote the script with partner David Giler. Premise: “The story centers on a female cop who teams up with a Mafia-type thug seeking retribution for his little sister's death.” (Killer Movies)
Marlene Dietrich biopic: Gwyneth Paltrow will star. I don’t like her, and I want to crack all sorts of jokes about how inappropriate I think she is, but… I have this weird gut feeling that she’ll actually knock this one out of the park. Maybe I’ve seen Gwyneth in Vogue too many times. (Empire Online)
Nico biopic: David McKenzie (Young Adam) will adapt James Young’s bio Nico: The End. CHUD bets money that Gwyneth Paltrow will be involved at some point, which is funny given the Marlene Dietrich story, until you actually look at the accompanying picture of Nico. And then it’s just scary.
The Perfect Man: Shooting began today on the Hilary Duff/Heather Locklear romantic comedy. (Coming Soon)
Skeleton Key: Coming Soon reports that shooting has also begun on the Kate Hudson supernatural thriller.

Zap2It: "Halle Berry Stalker Sent by God to Marry Her"
* LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Oscar winner Halle Berry has more than her share of man troubles. The 37-year-old actress is seeking a new restraining order against a Louisiana man who has been stalking her since 1998, reports Celebrity Justice.
Over five years ago, former Navy SEAL and preacher Greg Broussard began calling Berry's manager, claiming that he was going to marry her. His repeated calls, threats, inappropriate gifts and a "surprise" visit to Los Angeles resulted in a restraining order, which recently expired.
At the beginning of May this year, Broussard began to call again in earnest and insists that "God told him to marry Halle" and that he will "eliminate" anyone standing in his way -- namely Berry's manager, publicist and attorney. His escalated efforts include threats that he will head to Los Angeles once again to "settle this once and for all."
The 40-year-old Broussard is currently under investigation in Louisiana for making threats and assault. *
