Aragorn: Ah...everyone's favorite ranger. Even though the image at left is the same as on the Return of the King movie tie-in cover, we're pretty sure that the "blue series" of Aragorn pictures is from Helm's Deep. (Hey, our Rohan pictures came off the back of this book, which also has a picture of Legolas from FOTR. Go figure.) Nothing really revolutionary here--we just think Viggo Mortensen is extremely hot. Oh, and knowing what he looks like here pays off on our fourth page. (Numenoreen, Herr der Ringe.)

Legolas: Also hot. No, seriously. We got these pictures from Pan Prstenu, and honestly, we have no real clue as to what's going on here. Personally, though, we think they're just screen caps of some behind-the-scenes fooling around (we can't be sure, because we can't read the Czech captions). As new pictures are added, the existing pictures are bumped down in the queue on that site, but the last time we looked, they were on page 18 (!) of 54 (!!). But you can still click the thumbnails to see Pan Prstenu's full-size versions. Our current theory is that Orlando Bloom is testing out Viggo Mortensen's sword between scenes (note the similarities in the mended blade in the Aragorn pictures above). However, we also know that Legolas fights with a sword at Helm's Deep, as opposed to the arrows and knives we've already seen. (Versatile elf, he is.) And we believe this is at Helm's Deep--well, it's somewhere belligerent, because check out that shoulder armor. (Also, check out the rocky background. Looks similar to what we see in some of the Arwen pictures.) We have more pictures of Aragorn and Legolas in action--but you're going to have to hit our battle page to see them. But first... (drum roll)....Gandalf the White!
WARNING! PURE CONJECTURE STRAIGHT AHEAD!
Sorry-- we can't remember where we got this one (we've had it a long time). View our full-size version, or see a slightly different one at Herr der Ringe. (If it's yours, please let us know.)
Is this picture also from Helm's Deep (note the rocky background)? Only time will tell. (Herr der Ringe.)
